Benefits of Cardio and Strength Training

By pairing cardio with boxing-based strength training, you can truly make the most out of your hour-long workout session. Cardio strengthens the most important muscle in your body, the heart. A stronger heart has the ability to effectively deliver oxygen and nutrients through your blood system. While cardio is essential, it does not burn muscle like strength training.

When you combine cardio and strength training however, you reap the benefits of both types of workouts and maximize your results. This is particularly beneficial if you lead a busy life and don’t have time to devote to focus on both cardio and strength training separately.
